Notes
|
|
This
pipe is medium-sized and well suited for a comfortable outdoor smoking;
it has a sumptuous straight grain around the bowl and is literarily “as
new” because it was smoked no more than two or three times - in fact it’s
the very pipe I’m smoking while preparing these notes! I can therefore
attest to its fine smoking qualities.
Experienced
collectors recognize that the increasing scarcity of first-rate briar,
particularly that used in the smooth or natural finished pipes, will surely
cause pipes like this one to increase in value over time.
A soigné
piece for the thinking man. “Elementary, Doctor Watson!”
