This pipe will be appreciated
by smokers/collectors looking for a rare and highly collectible pipe. They
will fully appreciate the importance of the “LB” and “LBS” in vintage Dunhill
manufacturing.
This piece has thick walls, a
wonderfully comfortable saddle bit, strong blast, good rich Shell colour
with reddish highlights, very nice proportions and balance and 33 years
of life.
Nomenclature is faint, but readable
with a magnifying loupe in some sections.
The overall size is quite large,
certainly comparable to that of a current large group 5, allowing for a
long and pleasant smoke.
Present offer also has a very
high collectible value as it comes in the super-rare saddle version.
It stands up.
