It’s difficult to comment
this pipe as it’s quite odd and unusual; bowl looks like a vase and the
stem is flat like that of a Canadian.
Definitely, a small pipe, but
the tobacco chamber is surprisingly capacious. Its reddish clear and translucent
Bruyere colour was introduced in the ‘60s, a bit clearer the Bruyere stain
used before and after allowing transparency to the dense graining of this
pipe.
As a consequence of the extreme
lightness, it’s perfect for an untiring smoke while walking. Naturally,
the flat base, allows the pipe to stand on its own.
It’s not easy to find a collectible
pipe 31 years old still unsmoked and Dunhill’s enthusiasts should not allow
an opportunity like this pass you by!
