This old presmoked
pipe weighs 38 grams and is in excellent condition.

Notes
|
|
It’s difficult to comment
this shape as it’s the quintessential classic bent and is quite familiar
to all pipe smokers. Said that, I just underline that it’s in “like new”
conditions despite its age.
It has a small sized bowl
with a warm vintage dense grain that testifies the Corsican briar from
which it was carved so many years ago. A beautiful bird’s eye is present
on both sides of the bowl.
It’s not coincidental that
Dunhill in recent years introduced it’s second from the top Amber Root
finish and that its premier finish, the Root briar, is very scarce and
becoming more so with each passing day.
