It’s difficult to comment
this shape as it’s the more classic bent ever produced by Dunhill and is
quite familiar to all pipe smokers.
Said that, I just underline
that it’s light as a feather, has a generous bowl with thick walls, a dense
graining and a comfortable (and not easy-to-find) saddle bit.
It’s not coincidental that
Dunhill in recent years introduced it’s second from the top Amber Root
finish and that its premier finish, the Root briar, is very scarce and
becoming more so with each passing day.
