This
pipe is the saddled variant of the #41032, one the most classic of billiard
shapes in all of Dunhill’s history, which replaced the famous #60 (and
#59) when the five digits code system was introduced in the late ‘70.
I’m an
enthusiast of the saddle billiard shapes, which I consider amongst the
most comfortable shapes ever produced.
This pipe
has the tobacco chamber meerschaum lined, a rare feature that is no longer
offered. It allows for a dry smoke as well as the ability to smoke different
tobacco blends without imparting the dominant flavour of the last blend
smoked; it offers the best of the briar and meerschaum pipes.
