This
pipe was marketed in 1992 among a special series of hand turned pipes without
code references because their design was free style.
Walls of
the bowl are very thick and show a very dense graining with appreciable
bird’s eye on both sides. It’s very light and its bent shape allows a comfortable
grip in the mouth.
It’s a
true one-of-a-kind gem and experienced collectors realize that the increasing
scarcity of first-rate briar, particularly that used in the smooth or natural
finished pipes, will surely cause pipes like this one to increase in value
over time.
