This large presmoked
pipe weighs 57 grams, has a briar inlay to the stem and is in excellent
condition.

Notes
|
The #55 is one of the shapes
that made Castello famous the world over and its unusual design makes this
pipe recognizable at a distance.
This pipe has an appreciable
straight grain circumventing the bowl that was perfectly centred in the
ebauchon.
Other plusses to this pipe are
the handily carved plateau rim that contrasts with the smooth surface of
the pipe and the short bit that permits a good grip by the smoker’s teeth.
It stands on its own.
This pipe has a great appeal
and if you are reading these notes, it means that you are attracted and
therefore I need not extol its beauty: the pictures are enough!
